Disclaimer

Please send personal and flight information within 45 days prior to your travel. Forms will be sent to you for this purpose with your invoice. If lost or not received, please contact us for replacements. Go Panama Fishing waives all responsibility for complications arising from last minute bookings.

Payment

Payment may be made by:

  • Wire transfer

    • We require a deposit equal to fifty percent (50%) of the total rate times the number of guests in your party. If the deposit is not received within 10 days of your booking request, your reservation will NOT be confirmed and is subject to cancellation. Available space can then be sold to other customers.

    Final Payment

    Final payment or the balance is due 30 days before the departure date of your trip. If payments are not received by that time, Go Panama Fishing reserves the right to sell the space in question. You may apply funds towards another trip at a later date, when available.

    Cancellation Policy

    If you have paid in full and wish to cancel, you must contact us "in writing" within thirty-one (31) days prior to your arrival date at Tocumen International airport. Funds will be refunded, less a $300.00 cancellation fee for the charter.($150.00 of which may be applied toward a future trip). If you cancel your trip, for whatever reason, thirty (30) days or less prior to your arrival date at Tocumen International airport, all payments made on your trip will be non-refundable.

    Travel Insurance

    Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect your investment should any other unforeseen event occur.

    Required Documents

    You should have an official valid passport from your country, to enter Panama. Upon presentation of your passport, you may purchase a $5 Panamanian tourist card in order to enter Panama. Go Panama Fishing is not responsible for any changes in the Panamanian government's entry-requirements.

    Gratuities

    Gratuities have not been included in this package.

    • Taxi Drivers do not expect tips. Any intended gratuity should be figured in with the pre-trip negotiated fare.
    • Hotel Porters 50 to 75 cents per piece.
    • Hotel Chambermaids Usually over-looked, probably those most deserving of a gratuity. $1/ day would be a nice tip
    • Restaurants If a restaurant does not include a service charge, tip 10 to 15 percent.

    The Captain is not covered for gratuity, and should be tipped personally by you at the end of your visit. The usual and customary gratuity for the Captain is from $100.00 to $200.00 depending on how many days you fish. Please pay this gratuity in cash, to the Captain.

    Incidental Expenses

    Incidental charges might include city tours, snacks, phone charges, purchases at the gift shop, laundry, bar tabs, etc. These are not included in the package rates.
